Over the last two decades Law & Order has elevated controversial, important justice and human rights issues into the forefront of public debate, including this season’s opener, "Memo from the Dark Side," that addressed the issue of holding the authors of the Bush administration "torture memos" accountable.

A leading expert on international law, national security law, and human rights, Harold Koh has advocated for the rights of the most vulnerable populations in the United States and around the world.

Urvashi Vaid, Executive Director of the Arcus Foundation

An activist, community organizer and foundation leader, Urvashi Vaid has spent her career dedicated to the LGBT and social justice communities.
